We all know that Blood  pressure is the most  populous problem on this earth



about 75 million people(1 in 5) in america and 80 million  (1 in 3 ) people in india are suffering from high blood pressure .

so...., what is blood pressure .??🤔

if some one ask what is blood pressure then every one may tell that its all about measuring our systolic and diastolic preassure ...rite..?
just kidding ..i know  every one know what is blood pressure  but  hear  there is something more you need to know about blood pressure

Blood preassure is the increase in the pressure on the arteries  and thus it increase pressure on heart .
normally systol and diastole are the terms used while assesing the contraction  and relaxation of heart


  • systol means contraction of heart ..normal level of systol is 120-130
  • diastol means relaxation of heart . nrmal level of diastole in 80                                                 
                                      (normal blood pressure level is 120/80).


here many of us may think why 120/80 is said to be normal .
had you ever think for what reson 120/ 80 is termd as a normal and what if exceeds .?

systol and diastole are not only the contraction and relaxation of heart . the important thing we should  get here is   
 systolic pressure is the pressure exerted by heart while beating   (lub-dub)
 diastolic pressure is the pressure exerted in between the beat      (lub-dub)

so , we should maintain a balanced systolic and diastolic pressure


                               common  misconceptions about bloodpressure 




                    1. blood pressure is all about having medications.





  •  yes, ofcorse you should have medications like calcium channel blocker ,  beta blockers for high blood pressure. but those are just to supress the symptoms . 
  • taking medication is not only the idol thing that can survive you from hyper tension . you need to take many precautions to make yourself not to get adversly effected.



                          2. Eating sugar may not show any effect 




  • many people may think  that eating high amount of sugar is not  a big deal . But there is something that one should conceder about.
  • high sugar intake will makes you to put on your weights then you will get obese .  then arteries may struggel to pump your blood smoothly . (arteries pumps blood in way like a constipated person passes his stool 😆. so , you can imagine how the arteries are struggling in a obsed person)
  • that is the reason why obesed persons are more prone to cardiovascural diseases . 


           3. Blood pressure will get down if you stop eating salt.

                    (you may get confused afted after seeing this . i will explain you clearly )



  • you can control blood pressure by redusing salt intake . but most of the people will completely restrict the salt.
  • if you stop eating salt you may prone to electrolytes ( sodium , pottasium , chloride ) imbalence which may leads to irregular heartbeat and fatigue ect...
  • so , restricting salt is not the one stop solution to controll your blood presure .you should just limit your intake..

                              4. hypertension is because of hereditary 


  • we commonly observe everyone that if someone is effected with blood pressure immedialtly they will justify that as a hereditary problem.( look how judgemental the people are)

  • dite included with potassium can be benficial for people suffering with blood pressure
  • reducing the salt intake (not complete restriction) is important to controll high blood pressure 
  • drinking barley water will helps you to flush out  retained water in your body . water retention will increse load on kidneys and that leads to rise in blood pressure .
